Emerald Isle Professional Pet Care

About Me

Growing up, I have always had a passion for animals. I grew up with many pets, and loved to learn about them. As a young adult I worked at a dog daycare where I developed an interest in veterinary medicine. In 2015, I began working at our local veterinary clinic as a Veterinary Assistant. After two years of work, I became eligible to sit for the Veterinary Technician National Examination and became a licensed Veterinary Technician in 2018.

That same year, while taking a hiatus from working in general practice as a veterinary technician due to motherhood, I decided to take the leap into running a professional pet sitting business. I obtained a business license, became insured and bonded, and in addition to my veterinary technician license also became certified both in basic and advanced canine and feline first aid and CPR. Since then, providing quality pet care to our islands wonderful animals has become my passion and I cannot imagine ever doing anything else.

Our community needed another option to boarding pets and needed something other than "side gig pet sitters" who just want to make extra cash on the side, and I am thrilled and honored to be that option. Pet sitting, and the other services I offer, are not just a hobby for me- it is my livelihood.

I pledge to deliver skillful, safe and compassionate care to all pets entrusted in my care, to keep all client information confidential and to safeguard client's homes by taking all reasonable precautions. I represent the highest standards of ethical behavior and human attitudes towards animals and people.
